This Library presents the verbatim terms and conditions of various web services, variously called “Terms of Use,” “Terms and Conditions,” “Conditions of Use,” “Your Agreement With Us,” and so on. They all represent legal agreements into which you enter when you browse a web site or use a service of the host of the document.
We do NOT provide links back to the original documents because the Library is not intended to encourage traffic to those sites.
Note: We do not claim, unless expressly stated otherwise, that any particular Terms document is good, bad or indifferent, but collect them here for public interest and research purposes. To be clear, there may be some documents the Secure Surfing Organization thinks are “good” and others that are thought to be “bad” but the mere presence in the Library is not an indication of any particular thought or position on the part of the Secure Surfing Organization. A general exception is that we do endorse the GNU Public License, as describe above. All others are subject to specific reviews or comments we may publish about them.
Any author of a Terms document who claims copyright infringement due to the reproduction of the document in the Library is repudiated as a presumption of fair use and public interest. If you wish to press a claim of copyright infringement soley due to the reproduction of your Terms document, the Secure Surfing Organization requires you to present a detailed explanation why, as a matter of law, reproduction does not fall within the fair use and public interest exceptions of copyright law. Failure to provide such an explanation will result in our indulgence of a legal action, in which the obligation will fall to you to explain to the Court why you chose not to avail yourself of the opportunity to prevent an occupation of the Court’s time through the simple mechanism of explaining your case to us.
